Authenticity - Dishonesty damages relationships. I don't believe in marketing that relies on lies or manipulation. Your target audience has a problem you can solve and together, we can communicate it — honestly.
Curiosity - I'm all about research, and I know how to find credible sources to support your unique selling points. Through interviews with you and your clients, I can uncover what makes your product or organization one-of-a-kind.
Human relationships - In copywriting and marketing, there are so many human relationships that matter. Together, we can build a partnership where your voice is heard and your relationship with your audience comes first. In a sea of AI and impersonal spam, people matter more than ever.
Inclusivity - I believe that messaging should respect and include people of all races, gender identities, socioeconomic backgrounds, and abilities.
"I got a great gimmick. Let's tell the truth." - N.M. Orhbach
Give me a cozy reading nook. The scent of a used bookstore. The quiet tap of rain on the roof. I’ll be happy for days.
I want tea by the fire, falling leaves outside my window, and anything that makes my day a little more hygge.
Oh, and I love fiction, too (writing and reading it). Heck, I even love nonfiction and you can usually find me with a book in my hand, especially if the topic relates to health, psychology, or parenting. Once upon a time, my love for books led me to earn my master's in English at Rutgers.
I've also been a part of an international women's critique group for several years. One of my fondest memories is getting to meet the other writers at a conference set in a beautiful cabin on the Potomac in 2019.
If I don't have a book in my hand, I'm probably cooking or running and sometimes even dabbling in photography. I live in the NJ Pine Barrens with my husband (a software engineer) and our two kids. They're pretty cool, too.
